Adjudicated/Medal Placement Awards will now be available for pick up backstage at our awards table immediately following the completion of a routine. We will not be distributing adjudicated awards on stage during the Awards Ceremony, however, we will be announcing each routine's medal placement during the Awards Ceremony to celebrate & acknowledge their achievements.
A studio may designate any representative to pick up the adjudicated awards, or have the dancers pick them up. Studios may also waive the immediate results and pick up the awards at the conclusion of the Awards Ceremony. The decision is up to the studio, however, if you opt to waive the immediate results, please inform our Legacy Liaison and Stage Managers upon check in. Other than that, the Awards Ceremony will proceed as usual with all Specials, Top 10’s, etc. being awarded & distributed on stage.
All ages will be determined by Legacy's National birth date of February 1, 2026
Mixed Level Routines: Group routines must include at least 70% of dancers who are registered in the Division in which the routine is competing. In other words, to compete any level lower than advanced, the dancers in said routine must be comprised of at least 70% of that lower level. For example: An Intermediate Large Group of 10 must have at least 7 Intermediate rated dancers in it. If a routine does not contain 70% of either level, it must compete in the higher level. This rule also applies to mixed level Novice & Mini-Novice routines. Violation of these rules will result in disqualification of the subject routine from the top ten. Legacy or the studio may move a routine to the proper Division prior to the performance of the routine to correct a placement error. Please note that dancers registered in the Advanced Division are strictly prohibited from competing in the Novice Division.
In Duo/Trio entries, the routine will be placed in the Division of the highest-level dancer participating. All other group rules apply.
