    • David invites you to experience a competition like no other, one that will reinforce your teachings at the studio and greatly reward excellence in dance. We are proud to be the First and Only Competition that rewards you with National Type Prize Money on the Regional Level!
    • David Sanders, the Director of Legacy, is a veteran of stage and screen with more than 35 years of teaching, choreography and adjudication experience.  He is a member of AEA & SAG-AFTRA. David also sits on the Board of Directors for the ADCC and is the owner of 4 Long Island, NY dance schools.
    • His stage credits include National Tours of "A Chorus Line" and "West Side Story", as well as International Tours of "Balletaps USA" and "The Maurice Hines Revue".  He was a contestant on "Star Search" and was a lead dancer on the short lived TV series entitled "FMTV".  He has appeared as a dancer in numerous films and even took a turn as a stunt man in a Troma film that won the Best Stunts Award at the Cannes Film Festival.  His emphasis is now on furthering the art of dance and dance education through his studios as well as Legacy National Dance Championship.  His students can be found working professionally in all facets of the Industry, from Cruise Ships and MTV videos to feature films, major Ballet Companies, and Broadway.  His student dance company has opened performances for the likes of Bette Midler, Donna Summer and Jon Stewart, as well as playing to standing ovations at Lincoln Center in "Experience Jazz at Lincoln Center" and on Broadway at the St. James Theater in "Nothing Like a Dame".  Their competitive achievements and accolades are far too numerous to list after 30+ years on the national competition circuit.  It is because of his experience as a competitive teacher and studio owner that he knows what you and your dancers need. His professional experience and business acumen is why he knows how to provide it.
